I am sure they are going to make you add a line when you pick it up or make your girlfriend add a line. I bought mine at an AT&T store and I used a different line of mine that qualified for the $299 price for the 32GB. The rep told me that when I come to pick it up, they activate it, so I needed to make sure they activated it on the right number. I dunno. Good luck to you
