Enabling MMS through .mobileconfig (on 3.0 GM)

Hey,

Im on Vodafone India running 3.0 GM..

I managed to change the APN to www and enabled Tethering using a mobileconfig file from here.

Question is, how do I enable MMS through the mobileconfig file as well?
I dont mind using a Custom IPCC if somebody can guide me to making one.

Hi,

It's very easy to create a custom ipcc file. I've just completed the same. But let us wait till today evening and see if Apple comes with a different iphone 3.0 release. And then i'll upload this file.

i was lucky, i didnt have to change any setting to get mms working , as soon as i upgraded to GM, i straight away recieved a message from Telstra telling me about sending pictures and sound files etc .

Man.. i messed with the ipcc file for about 4 hours trying tons of different settings in the carrier.plist file.. i could never get it to work.. even after calling ATT and explaining it to them. they were like, "Well its enabled on your line, so you should just be able to do it.".. even with my 3g.. but seriously I could never do it..

if you get it working. please let me know.. by the way if you have developer tools (which you can download for free at developer.apple.com with a free account, then you'll have the plist editor which is a big help when doing this.)

hi, want to know whether this work on a jailbroken phone and if it does, should i start the process right after restoring...currently am iphone2G 2.2 firmware and planning to upgrade to 3.0..
