I know it's the exact same size as the old 3G iPhone, but I am not sure if everything will be exact such as the camera whole or screen protectors for it. When will companies start releasing re branded versions of their cases specified for the iPhone 3GS?

It is still unclear whether or not the new camera lens is a different size. The overall size of the screen and case are identical from the "tech specs" page. You may not see a new line of cases for the 3GS.
