Just wondering if anyone else has noticed this about the iPhone

I have had the iPhone now for a week and have noticed that when the phone is locked, under the time it has weird messages. I noticed this last Saturday. I went to slide my finger to unlock and noticed that it said "Cold December" under the time. Today I noticed it again and it says "Crazyboutya". Does anyone know what this is or why it is doing this. I guess Steve Jobs is crazy about me since I bought the iphone!

That is the song open in iPod mode.

No because I don't have a song called that. I know what you are talking about though. I thought the same thing when I first saw it, but I know that isn't it because I don't have songs named that. Any other ideas? These messages show for like a day at a time. Right where the date should be displayed.

I had the same type of message on mine. It said "drop that"... Which is the name of a song I have on the phone. I think it gets stuck if you have the phone docked playing music and u undock it without stopping the music. Title of the song gets stuck there untill u go back in to the iPod feature and play then stop a song... This is what I did and now the "drop that" message is gone and it displays the date like normal... Anyone else notice that if u get a call while phone is on the dock, then try to undock before sliding to answer the screen will freeze and not let u answer the call??

Yes, that has happened to me too. It's the name of the song that you were playing in the iPod before you stopped it to so something else. It does that sometimes, I think it's a bug of some sort.

Perhaps you have too many songs in your library that you forgot that you had those songs? Heh, I know that happens to me sometimes.
