Iphone screen wont turn on!

My iphone 3g is being weird okay so when i am in a call and the call drops, i wont know the call is dropped no noise will happen or any other type of warning and then that person will call me back and the phone will be ringing and everything but the screen won't turn on, i have to hang up on them push the power key a few times and then the screen turns on and everything goes back to normal, i could repeat this at my will by doing this anytime any one no what that problem might be?

I would start with a restore to knock out being a software issue.

But then I would say it could be an issue with the proximity sensor.

ya thats what i was thinking, i am going to do a restore... wish me luck lol its goin to take a while but thats okay its well worth it if it fixes the problem if not apple will be getting a call

[update] I reinstalled iblacklist and it seemed to have fixed the problem so thanks anyways.
