upcoming iphone to have twice the RAM?
I guess it's pretty much for sure that the iPhone "4G" will have 256 MB's RAM instead of the current 128.
why? if Apple doesn't want to support backgrounding apps, why would they give us more power to do so? the iphone has plenty of memory for people who don't jailbreak their phones. i can only see this benefit jailbreakers who use Backgrounder.
could there be another reason for this or do you think Apple is going to have some sort of Backgrounding support come out in future?

More RAM does not necessarily mean backgrounder. As more apps come out with more features they will need more RAM. Current apps might not, but FW 3.0 allows video ets so I would be willing to bet future apps will

yeah i'm not complaining, just curious.
