Preparing iPhone for resale; steps to take?

So, I plan to jump on the bandwagon and purchase the next iPhone model when it is released in July, and try to sell my current one. What steps are necessary to prepare the iPhone for resale on eBay or a similar auction platform? I figure I'll need to restore it (to remove jailbreak software) -- anything else? Obviously, I don't want any personal information remaining on the iPhone.

Basically everything you said...probably be better if you'd jailbreak it and unlock it, then put it up on ebay.

well some people see it as a plus on ebay to buy a jailbroken iphone. believe it or not there is still people that just dont understand how to do it themselves, so they look for one already unlocked/jailbroken then u make more cash.

but for ur personal info, i guess restore ur phone then jailbreak it again and leave it alone until you sell it

Leave it jailbroke and note it in listing.

Remove all App Store paid apps and all Cyida paid apps first though.
