Default My warranty is up - dust underneath the screen

Can anyone simply explain the steps to remove dust from your 3G screen? There's maybe just 2 or 3 specks but it's really annoying the heck out of me! How simple or hard is this?

    1. Pull the screen assembly off.

    2. Carefully remove the LCD from the screen assembly.

    3. Wipe down LCD and inside of glass/digitizer.

    4. Put back together.

    10 Minute job.

If you want a good guide to taking it apart check ifixit.com and use the LCD removal guide.

Check the site I stated....it has pics.

    But, at any rate.....

    1. Remove the 2 small screws at the bottom of the phone on either side of the dock assembly.

    2. Take a suction cup, place right above the home button and CAREFULLY/SLOWLY pull up to pull the screen assembly out - only raise about 1 inch.....then there are 3 cables near the top that have to be removed BEFORE the screen comes up any further.

NOTE: 1 cable has a tiny black "clasp" that has to be flipped up first, or you will break it.

    3. Once the cables are disconnected you can finish removing the screen.

If you dont check the guide out and pics....you wont get it.....and likely break something.

Probably should go to a local store who fixes them.
