Hello i know i had my iphone setup before with the IM "Nimbuzz" and i could lock it and still hear IM's coming it ran in the background! But im quite sure i didn't use backgrounder!
The reason is i want to use skype the same way to keep it running and hear im's and calls over 3g since its free
