ive just gotten a new iphone thru an insurance claim, and have just jail broken it.
Everything is working like it should be except for the camera and photos.
Ok first problem 1:
The Standard apple cam will take the photos, but when i go to the photo album, it doesnt seem to be saving them... any ideas?
Problem 2:
Seeing as the standard camera app isnt working, im now using snapture. Snapture is working fine, the photos are being saved into the album as they should be. But now, i cant seem to delete them. I hit the trash can button, the photos disappear, yet once i exit the album and come back into it, the photos are reappearing....
Has anyone experianced this problem before? or have any ideas on how to fix it?
Also, if someone could tell me the directory to where the photos are saved, i can just SSH onto the phone, go to the directory and delete them that way, but unfortunately, i cant seem to find the directory they are saved to.

All im getting in that directory is a photo database file, and a thumbs directory. Im looked in the thumb directory and theres nothing there....
Does anyone else have any idea on how to delete these photos??

But does anyone have any idea why i cant delete them on the iphone?
Could it be something ive installed since jailbreaking has changed the permissions or whatever?? As you can tell i dont know much at all about this stuff, so any help would be really appreciated.

I had that problem a while back... SSH into your phone or use finder on your phone... then just simply set the permissions to that folder to 755. That should fix your problem
Theguy386 the permissions for the DCIM folder was set @ 750, so i tired changing it to 755, changed the 100apple folder to 755, but the problem still remains. Still cant delete the photos, and the standard camera still isnt saving...
im ready to throw this damn iphone at a wall!! arrhhhhhhh
guys im still having this problem. Also now noticed the changes i make to the photo's via photogene arnt saving. im guessing its related.
Any suggestions?
