I have a family plan with my wife. I have a iphone plan and she has a curve. We have shared min/text and then we both pay extra each for media packages. I thinks its about $30 dollars each. I also own a bold And want to activate it on my plan but dont want to get burned. My bill runs around $170 to $180 a month for me and my wife and cant really put anyextra pressure on there. I was wondering how much extra do you think it will be to just add the bold to my plan? Can i cancel my iphone plan and get it with a lower plan and get a blackberry plan instead.?? My blackberry is unlocked and the iphone i can unlock if needed. What i want is to use my iphone for internet/email/phone and all the lovely apps,3g for sling. The bold i need text,3g,email,hmmm i think thats it...oh and i would like to use BBM....?????

no. i am paying already for these features through a family plan. i want to share the bold with this plan but dont want to add the 30 dollars extra a month. i dont need data but need text,min,bbm......... can i use the pay as you go unlimited plan for 20 dollars>? will this work..????

BBM uses blackberry data plan, so you'll have to have a BB data plan on your plan. However, you can just cancel your iPhone data plan and replace it with a BB data plan. All your features will work on your BB, and same goes for your iPhone. The only thing you'd lose is visual voicemail, but that's a small price to pay.

This sounds GREAT. I will try this but what kind of plan do i get for iphone or am i switching just the sim.???? IM confused because this means i would need 2 sim cards one for my bb and one for iphone.?? im lost on how to pull this off..??

Are you saying for me to switch to bb plan and get a payas you go for iphone and it will still work just not for visual voicemail????

Or do i just change to bb plan and get a regular free phone added to my plan to use shared min/text and add 15 dollar unlitled data plan and add that sim to my iphone??????? I use the internet and 3G on my iphone ALOT and would use my bold for texts and emails...

Ok so I am going to switch my plan from the iphone to a BB and add it to my family plan. After i do this and i dont have a iphone plan. What type of plan do i add next to get the iphone working again.? I would have to order another phone cause i do not have a extra sim. So when the extra phone arrives i would just switch the sim and get it working. Do i have this right or am i missing something??????
