Installing iTunes 8.2 on Windows

It will install perfectly fine, but upon startup it crashes in the middle of 'updating the library' every single time. I have restarted my computer, and uninstalled/installed iTunes several times with the same issue.

Wondering if anyone has a solution or any ideas at least?

This worked for me....

Locate your iTunes folder:
Mac OS X: /Users/username/Music
Windows: \Documents and Settings\username\My Documents\My Music\

move the itunes library to the desktop....

restart itunes...

let it build the library again

Once its done......shut itunes

move the original itunes back to its location...

start itunes again

the movies that I bought off of iTunes caused it to crash, i moved them out of the iTunes music folder and it loaded fine

weird, but I cant use any of my movies from the iTunes store. I tried dragging them in individually and, no dice
