Applications not syncing. Please help!

I am inserting new apps into the latest version of iTunes.
It appears under applications. When I connect my iPhone 3G, this particular app is checked to be sunced with the phone.
Yet, as the syncing takes place the app is not being synced. From what I can tell, itunes is not even attempting to sync it.
How do I resolve this problem???

is the app meant for a different firmware? if so i can help you.
or did you get the apps not from the appstore, friends, internet, ollous...

I got the apps elsewhere, not from the apple store, ollous to be exact.
Most of them sync with no problem, yet couple of large games do not. As I described in my original post.

Wow, I'm surprised no one has helped you with this yet. Here's what you have to do.

(1) Go into the App Store
(2) Search for the game your trying to install
(3) Hit the buy button, put in your iTunes password
(4) Sync

Simple

I thought I'd edit this quick...I'm not saying that was your doing it completely wrong, I understand some games/apps don't come with a lite/demo version so that's the only way to try them out and I understand if that's what you're doing.

I'm just saying, these devs work hard on this stuff, especially if it's a big game like you're trying to install. Give them their dues.

I was thinking it was in reference to cracked apps, which is no no. He stated....
