Disable "Slide to View"?
Any way I can disable the "Slide to View" on the lockscreen? This can be found when someone sends you an SMS. I would like to disable "slide to view" for the following reason:
-Whenever I slide to view my sms, my iPhone leaves the current application (Safari, for example), that I had opened before I locked my phone. Sliding to view the sms, leaves the currently opened app, and goes straight to the SMS app.
I have used iRealQuickSMS as well as QuickSMS, which didn't get rid of the "slide to view". Any ideas? It's really bugging me.

To the OP...I think this is what you're looking for...I guess it's a new string in 3.0 firmware...not sure though. It's REMOTE_NOTIFICATIONS_LOCK_LABEL. This file will go into whatever theme you are running /Bundles/com.apple.springboard/en.lproj/ folder. Replace the old Springboard strings file with this one. This was really pissing me off because I'm using BeeJiveIM with push notifications with a custom lock and every time I got a message I would get that stupid slide to view notification
