    Default No 3G only EDGE

I have a weird issue. I have a 3G iphone on ATT running 2.2 jailbroken. It's been running fine then all of a sudden this morning I only get edge signal. It won't go into 3G anymore. Did something happen somewhere? I don't think I messed with any setting. Thanx for any help.

Could be a local problem, but as you don't give a clue as to where you are it's difficult to tell.

Have you tried powering it completely off and then back on again? That usually cures your problem.

I'm out here in the Los Angeles area. I already tried powering down completely and turned back on with no avail. I also tried turning 3G off and on to no avail. I even turn off EDGE in SBSetting to see if it will try to connect with the 3G. I'm actually thinking of restoring the phone now. Thanx so far.

    Try Resetting network settings first!

Have you called AT&T? It could be a localised fault.
