So disapointed with the low volume

Im not asking for help to up the volume of my new iphone 3g, because ive done a search, and at the moment theres no help for 2.2.1, and ive tryd the volume boster, with no sucsess
im just so disapointed that its so low, im getting so many miss calls, miss mail, its unbelivable
is there a reason for this, why have apple set it like this?

Check the downloads sections under sounds there's a file called loud cell phone ringing or something like that. It's quite loud with no volume boost and it should help

Maybe your handset is faulty. My phone is very loud.
