Iphonebrowser or OpenSSH?

I'm new to the world of messing around with iphones and I've noticed that many people uses OpenSSH for say installing themes. Right now I'm using the iPhone Browser program instead because it works with USB. Just wondering if there's any advantages on using OpenSSH for say fooling around with themes or transferring files? It certainly seems less convenient...

Ssh requires wifi connection.Other than you can use diskaid or something...

i think in iphone browser u cant access past root into '\'. Also u can execute proper code in shh.
