    Default DCIM vs. Photo folders

Can some explain the different between the DCIM folder (in which all of my photos are stored) and the Photo folder.

Dcim folder is for camera roll only. You can see only them in apple iphone folder when you connect to your computer.Normally, other photos are saved to photo folder which are transfered from your computer.

DCIM (see [ame]http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Design_rule_for_Camera_File_system[/ame]) is the de facto industry standard for digital still cameras and hence recognised by most computers/ imaging programs as the palce where pictures taken on a device will be stored.

The Photo Folder is just a folder where other photos are stored.
