Prevent iTunes from resizing photos?

Hey is there anyone who knows if it's possible to prevent iTunes from optimizing photos when you sync? It's really annoying because I have images that I sync that I would like to zoom in on and because of the optimization, whenever I zoom the quality is horrible.

haha i know exactly what ya mean it really annoys me! way i know of getting the high quality pics on it, is saving them via safari! apart from that i havent heard of any way to do so!
