Default Just bought 3G. Will I be eligible for new iPhone release upgrade?

This sucks. My 2G died, sold it on eBay and I just got the 3G today. Then I come on here only to find out apple is probably going to be releasing a new iPhone this JUNE!

Do you guys think I would be eligible for an upgrade to the new version? This always happens to me too. Last time I bought an 80GB classic iPod and then the following week they release the newer versions. WTF!

I kinda doubt it this early, but who knows. I would take it back (you should have a return window) and buy one off ebay for now and wait.

Hmmm... tricky. Does anyone have any experience with this last year? I don't remember if there was a cut-off date or not.

I would return it, but I already signed that stupid 2 year contract. Can anyone tell me why Apple has an exclusive deal with at&t? I think all carriers should carry this phone. It would definitely give us, the consumers more options and better prices.
