Having an issue dismissing "Edit Home Screen"

Hello there,

I have an 2G iPhone that is jailbroken and unlocked via pwnagetool, and I just recently restored it and rejailbroke and unlocked it so now this screen is back.

One time somehow it disappeared and I got lucky, but that has not been the case today and I have tried several things and I am getting really frustrated.

I was attempting to connect through SFTP - as described on here - Until I realized that I am not connected to the wireless because I cannot dismiss this button!

So I then was attempting to connect through USB and read about that for using iPhone Tunnel Suite, but every time I downloaded it none of them would work (and the original website is down).

I have tried this on a PC and a MAC, I would prefer to do it on my MAC but if anyone can tell me what I can maybe do from here on on MAC or PC it would be greatly appreciated.

I need to study for finals and this is not helping!! Haha.

By the way, I do not know a lot about all this SFTP, rewriting files, I just learned how to jailbreak, I have been reading a lot and I learn semi fast, but I might need someone to hold my hand a little bit in the directions if you have any.

Tried it out, unfortunately I was unable to make that work as I did not understand how to open the itunnel.exe 5900 5900 into cmd... the other one did not let me edit the file names to change the values of the "edit home screen" status.

na its easier than it looks, all you need to do is,

-open iPhone Tunnel Suite
-Open iTunnel (the command proft)
-Then with it open, open WinSCP (through iPhone Tunnel Suite)
-Choose "iphone" in WinSCP
-Then it will work

i have noticed that often you need to wait for the cmd to talk to your iPhone, with mine i wait for it to prompt for a p/w, then i know its connected, then i go ahead with connecting with WinScp (via iTuneel Suite) and it all works fine!
