cannot delete any appstore apps

i have searched all day. somewhere along the lines of unlocking my iphone and downloading a bunch of stuff then deleting them, i come to realize that when i hold the icons to make them shake then move/delete, the X on the apps become unresponsive and do absolutely nothing when i try to press them.. it doesnt recognize the X being press

im guessing i had to mess something up in the registry, but that doesnt matter if i cant get the Xs to work again, i just need to find a way to delete my apps or my phone will just overload with junk..

any help?

Have you downloaded an app from cydia by the name of lockdown?
if so, check the settings, there is an option to lock app deletion,

so go into lockdown> settings> scroll down, and make sure lock app deletion is set to no
