Default Using an old ATT sim in a new phone
I just bought an 8GB iPhone to replace my 4GB one. When I swap in my old SIM in the new phone it asks me to activate again.

when i go through the activation process again, it appears that it wants me to sign up for another plan. I don't want another plan, I just want to use my new phone with my current sim (and give my open 4GB to my brother).

Anybody have experience with legit activation like this??

As far as I know, you can only use the SIM card it came with. (Unless, maybe you used an old one before activating). You can use the new SIM card in an old phone though.
What do you want to use the old one for?

I thought it would save all the hassle of activation!
