Will i lose data if i replace battery?

Hey guys simple question, will i lose all my data if i install a new battery on my phone? I have a 2g that is almost 2 years old and battery life isn't that great. Ipod juice sells a replacement battery for 20 dollars and installs it for 12. $32 for a new battery + install sounds good to me. Just want to know if i will lose everything. Thanks

I'm not stupid, apple states on their website that if you replace your battery through them you lose all your data.

I think it's a legitimate question. I'm assuming i will be totally fine but want to be 100% sure. Thank you
