Two bits of help with settings please....

Hi guys, i've installed and modded my phone that much that i've forgotten what i need to change for the following:

1) How can i get writing underneath my icons on my iphone? Is there a setting or something in winterboard that i need to change?

2) When i go on site through safari on my phone and there is a video, eg on bbc iplayer, i get a white box saying "download" or "play in media player" is this something to do with boss prefs or dtunes or something?! How can i get rid of this as it makes it impossible for me to watch bbc iplayer now!

Hope that all makes sense, any help gratefully appreciated!

1)the info.plst on the theme you are using is causing that. or you have have 'no undocked icon labels' checked in winterboard.

2)that is caused by the safari download plugin. you can delete it in Cydia (most likely it was installed when you installed dTunes)

Ive checked winterboard and nothing along those lines is checked... what is my next option? can i edit the info.plst?

Another thing... (ive got a day off and having a play around with themes etc) I've installed "Customize" from cydia, and trying to install some different battery icons... the readme i have tells me to navigate to private/var.........customize/batteryimages ... the problem is that there is no customize folder. Do i create this myself or have i done something wrong!?

forgot to add, im using a program called iphone browser on my pc to move themese, icons etc accros.

Also, this safari download plugin, is there a way of turning it on and off? Thought i read that ages ago, rather than just uninstalling it?

Customize doesnt work anymore, better dont mess with it. You can edit the info.plst with a text editor and change the color of the text. (most likely its transparent on the theme you are using)

I dont know, but there may be a SBSettings toggle for Safari DL plugin. Check Cydia

Cheers for that guys, Ive downloaded the SBSettings file and that seems to have done the trick.

What is used now instead of Customize? I am using winterboard for my themes, but if i want to add a new battery charging bar or apple loading logo, what is the best program to use?

Also, where can i find this info.plist file that i need to edit?
I have changed my theme again, along with logos and i'm struggling to tell what everything is!!

Winterboard is really the only option, it can change any image on the phone.

the info.plst is the the main folder of whatever theme you are using.

Actually customize does work, there is a fix. I'm not a huge fan off it since winterboard came out but here check out this link.
I tried the fix and it really works and will allow to to edit strings and all.
