    Default Limewire for Iphone

Is it possible? Im not talking about MewSeek where the files you download is on their servers. I mean like P2P sharing. Like limewire. Is it possible? Is there an app?

    Possible? Yes. Likely? Probably not.

Lots of copyright issues there as well as downloading/uploading/data issues that some users may be worried about slowing down their speeds and what not...

    Definitely a cool thought, though.

Well limewire would be definetly CRAP, but something similar would be cool.
Basically a P2P for the iPhone lol
But rapidshare/megaupload and those other file hosting websites sometimes do the job, if the file is not hosted as a .zip/.rar file, for example using MyCinema (i think it's called like that) from Cydia, you can download some movies in mp4 format directly to your iPhone.
But i'd rather use my computer to download HD movies and convert them for the iPhone :P

Apple would never allow a limewire app on the iphone because it would be in competition with the itunes music store, they wouldnt want something on their phone that makes them lose profit.

Yeah limewire is crap. ALmost every song i download jumps and has horirble quality. For the computer, grab uTorrent or Transmission and get torrents of demonoid or TPB... as for the iPhone i do believe dTunes and Torrentula are the only ones who attempt this. I haven't tried any as I just torrent the music i need into iTunes and sync.

Why not just install Simplify Media? You can listen to as much music as you want by setting up an account.
