Tethering over Bluetooth an Tethering with USB on iPhone OS 3.0???

I just got my iPhone 3G device all set up for tethering on iPhone 3.0 OS Build 3. When I use it over bluetooth for some reason I keep getting disconnected. I am running Windows Vista and the globe disapears and doesn't come back I got to reconnect. When I try to use USB nothing happens

I had he same problem, I could get my Macbook to see my iphone & I got them to pair, but when I click my iphone to connect to the Macbook, it connects & disconnects right away. It should be foolproof.
I pay have to call Apple tomorrow....
On the positive side, I did Tether thru the USB. It was cool.
Go Settings <Network< and then turn Internet Tethering on, then connect, and it did the rest by itself.. Like I said it was cool.....
