Hey guys I just got my iphone like a month ago and I think I've already broken it. I was messing with it on SSH(WinSCP) and I think I accidently deleted or changed something. Now phone is completely frozen! Not shutting off or anything.
I held the power and home button at the same time, and now I have the apple symbol on the phone. Have absolutely no idea what to do now.
Would love if someone could help me. Is there a way to restore it to factory condition? Is it even possible to fix this or am I completely screwed?
when you held the power and home button, was the phone plugged in? make sure you hold both bottons with phone plugged in until it turns off and back on. once you see the apple icon, continue to hold the home button but release the sleep/wake one until you see the restore screen, then itunes should tell you you need to restore. restore to 1.1.4
