Where's My Battery?

I restarted my iphone today and when it came back on, instead of having the battery logo in the top right corner that shows how much battery power you have left, it has a nuber. The number isnt always the same. Does anyone know what this is. Im thinking i might have installed something accidentally that puts the percent of battery remaining up there. thats all i can think of that it could be. Does anyone else have this?

Yes, you've probably installed 'extended preferences' or something similar. if you have uninstalled it, you'll need to reinstall the app you had, then turn this feature off before uninstalling it again.
