Text message "SMS" notification reminder HELP !
Hi Everybody.
I need some help here. Something started and i dont remember when and how to stop it.
Its when i get new text messages (SMS) i get the new SMS sound and thats okay, but it comes again every 10 min until i open the iPhone from the loockscreen. Like some kind of notification reminder ?
I do have StatusNotifier installed but all the reminder buttons are set to off. Like,
Notifications set to ON (ALL)
Reminders set to OFF (ALL)
So it should only make the new SMS sounds one time, right.
I also have the "ThingsStatusCalender" WinterBoard theme installed. The one from here (MacTHEMES)
It's so annoying if I'm at work and i cant go to the phone when i text message comes, then it keeps making sounds every around 10 min until i touch it.. Grrrr
Anybody have any clue to what it could be ?
Thx a lot. Hope to hear from you guys

Starting with one of the 2.0+ updates, Apple put in an automatic reminder. I haven't found a way to circumvent this. I haven't looked either.

I haven't seen a BossPrefs/SBSettings add-on for this. I'm sure you could ask him.

Hi guys.
Really ??? I didn't know that. You learn something new all the time.
I'm sure someone made a hack/mod so it can be turned off. What about BossPreffs ad-ons ?
Maybe i should message him and ask to build one.. Would be cool.

3.0 has a 'repeat alert' setting that can be turned on or off. It's under the 'messaging' settings.
