T.V. Shows?

Sorry if this is a stu[id question, but in iTunes under syncing options under Videos, one section is T.V. Shows as is in iPod app. I was wondering what shows and where can I find these. At first I was thinking video podcasts but for syncing it is under a different tab. Thanks in advance
