    Default Back-Up with Categories?

From what I understand when you backup a jailbroken iPhone with iTunes it ignores all the jailbreak data and only backs up the official apple data/apps, correct?

Well if most of my apps (official apps) are in categories (using Categories app), does iTunes still detect them and back them up? Or are they not detected because they are hidden in categories? Would i be able to restore all my apps, app data, and other data with a backup made like this?

Yes itunes only backs up your official apple stuff and apps. If they're in catagories they do still get backed up.

However, you need to take them out of catagories before a restore or you will have problems after the restore, as they will appear hidden.

Now, this can be fixed by installing "poof" or something with poof in it, and unpoofing all the apps but its a pain.

Ok thanks so it is backupd but take them out before restore.

Im guessing the same applies to when apps are hidden via sbsettings?
