question regarding .plist files

Hi Guys,

I noticed that the plist files are significantly larger in size when converted to xml from Binary.
given that the iPhone can read both binary and plain text xml, are there any performance gains by using binary?

I doubt the files would be useable if they were converted. But at their size, even if they were you wouldnt notice a difference. Apple's pretty good about making a clean OS, so im sure that would have been thought of it were a factor.
