Weird glitch today... this is the original screenshot FTP'd over. Anyone else see this??

there is a fix for that somewhere in cydia, i had the same issue after installing ireal...
idk wut its called but the description says something like fix for sms app that always shows 1 txt msg.
says nothing about negative txts but still works...

That makes sense bc I recently installed and sbsequently removed iRealSMS (didn't know it costs iRealMoney). I'll find that fix. LOL and ya sry abt the pic I accidentally picked an image out of the photo folder and not the screenshots.

It is a bug with iRealSMS - which was the main reason I removed it and now use BiteSMS (also not free but worth it)

i use ireal and ive never seen that. thats kinda wierd

Had the same issue, after uninstalling iReal it cleared up. Was crazy, got up to -50 some messages. Just didn't like seeing the negeative numbers, made me feel weird.

hey download "Unread SMS Fixer" from cydia, i havent tried, but it could be a "corrupt" database thats causing the problem, might as well give it a shot!

I believe that fixes a different bug and does not work with the problems caused by iReal.

It does. The first time it happened to me, I'm not sure if I jailbroke my phone then, much less used iRealSMS, but I just deleted all my texts and that fixed the problem; I really didn't want to, though, but the negative text annoyed me. Luckily I found that Unread SMS Fixer app before it happened again. When it did, I installed the app and that fixed it. Originally Posted by confucious

Restarting the phone (full power down) seems to have fixed the problem. I figured that was worth a try before heading to that fix in Cydia.
