Newbie here,

Just wondering what are the benifits of using Jailbreak?
I want to be able to copy and paste and have the same features as my old HTC 8525. Is there any Apps that can do that and is it worth hacking into my phone?

copy and paste is currently not available even if you jailbreak

but jailbreaking opens up a whole new world of awesome 3rd party apps and you can do tons more stuff with your iphone.

When you "Opens up a whole new world" what do you mean? Am I able to access my drive and folders? Can I send pictures via email as attachment instead of going to my photos and sending as email?

well for example on my phone i can play the original nintendo, i cant change nearly every aspect visually of my iPhone, i can use my iPhone as a wireless trackpad/mouse on any computer, i can play the piano, guitar, and the drums on my iPhone lol, i can get live up-to-date battery info such as percentanges ad how well its holding a charge.

these are just a few programs i have on my phone, but there are 1,000's of different programs.

Is there software that will allow me to attach my photos via email from my iphone? Also would Apple find out through iTunes sync and void my warranty?

omg.. you want a crap phone that has wifi, photos, sms and phone? get the iphone.
you want a phone with many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many more capabilities? JAILBREAK !

i think that's the only way of saying it clearly

you may fool apple with virginizing the phone (putting it in its stock box state) if it needs to be sent
you may copy and paste with new firmwares that are coming
you may attach photos via pc (email are coming in the near future)
