Wait for the new iPhone?

Hi, I recently got my first gen iPhone stolen

and i was thinking about buying the iPhone 3G, should I buy it now or should I wait for the new iPhone to come out? Can anyone tell me some of the cool rumors about the stuff the new iPhone will have? and like an estimate cost maybe?
Should i buy it now and then sell it and buy the new one?Or just wait?I rlly want one now cuz after having the iPhone for so long, these regular phones suck so much, but I'm afraid I'll regret it.
I'm guessing Apple will release it in June which ain't that far away.

Wait. No definate features announced yet but some good stuff has been rumored. No one knows a price either. If it was me I'd wait for the new one.

Might be a long wait and will be overpriced.
If it was me I would buy one now while reasonably priced and jailbreak.
When the Version 3 software is out just download and jailbreak again.

Lots of rumours - all unsubstantiated.
Estimated cost - $10,000,000
That's probably as accurate as the rumours.
The new phone is nearly 3 months away and no one knows what it will have. There is always something better just around the corner...

There is always a chance that Apple won't release a new iPhone. They never announced it officially, although there is *some* evidence that there *could* be a new version of the iPhone this summer.
So maybe if you wait, you just waste your time. I'd go for it, just buy a 3G now, and if there is in fact a new version/model coming out, then just sell it after the official release. Make sure it's unlocked and jailbroken, since it might take at least a few weeks or even months till it will be possible to unlock them. So the 3G will still keep its value during that time, imo.

Yea, i guess I'll buy it now. And then like wait for the 4th or 5th iPhone. I was planning on buying this upcoming one, but then mine got stolen and im like a iPhone addict.
