locking phone

is there a way to lock the phone while on a call? I have a problem with the phone calling out sometimes while im on it.. any ideas?

That doesn't make sense. If you are on a call and have the phone up to your ear the sensor turns off the screen and makes it inactive so you can't push buttons. When you take the phone away from your face it then activates and lights up.

Thats what i thought but it happened today maybe when i put it on my shoulder? But still would be nice to lock instead of calling my future in laws at 3 am lol!

yea... press the sleep button after answering the call
