iphone for dummies, help

ok so someone reallys needs to write mea manual or something coz i just dont get this thing at all

basically i bought an iphone off ebay, recieved it yesterday put my simcard in and it could call out, all icons were on the screen, eveything worked, plugged it into the comp n it came up with all the registration stuff. i am in australia and am not an at & t customer obviosuly so i need to know 1. how to put songs onto my iphone without registering or a way around it.

also, i then proceeded to play around with things and then found that i could no longer call out or sms, then i "reset network settings" and now my phone is in emegerncy only mode. everything is gone!

i need to know what to do to get everything running again.

hmm i think you have to restore and then ZipPhone it

Yes.

Restore it to Firmware 1.1.4 via iTunes and then run the ziphone "Do it all" on it.

After reconnecting to iTunes set the phone as NEW phone.
