Wi-Fi Connections

Hey guys just a little help needed....my i fone connects to Wi fi spots...SSID, Router I.P Address comes up perfectly on phone..when i try to connect to something or if i try to update my resources i get cannot connect to host....Please a little help..... V 1.1.3 Jailbreaked and Unlocked...

What kind of security is on your router? Try wpa2-psk

it's open access no passwords....

is it your home router? some "open access" wifi connections, if you connect then click on safari, there is a page to register or pay.

I think you guys missing point of his question..He has WiFi and he has IP address showing up...but that IP doesnt work when he tryes to connect with that address to apps like winscp or democracy...or whatever requires ip address in it...connection timed out or connection refused..that what we get..any help?
