Question About iCall on iPhone

Can someone please confirm that VoIPover3G works on iCall, over both 3G and EDGE, but when no data network is available it switches over to Cellular voice? Please tell me if you have had any success with this.

Can someone please reply?

The reviews on the app store seem positive but you should be aware it's not a free service. Even though the app is free, the unlimited NA long distance is $9.95/month

I know. I don't have to worry, my parents pay the regular monthly bill, I just want to know that if I get iCall and pay the $9.95 on my credit card, then can I use VoIPover3G on it so I can talk using iCall over any Data Connection (WiFi, EDGE, and 3G). This would be very convenient for me, my family has only 700 shared minutes, and I can't use my cell at home, unless it's after 9:00 PM...THAT SUCKS!!

So does VoIPover3G work on iCall? Yes or No? And if so, then when I have no data connection at all, then does it switch back over to cellular?

Cydia iCal works very well for me over 3G.

Just try the trial out if you want to make sure, they dont charge you for the trial.

So iCall (VoIP Application from App Store) works perfectly for you, when using VoIPover3G (Cydia App) on it to call over 3G? Does it also work just as well over EDGE?

Edge really doesn't have enough bandwidth or speed to handle VoIP.

3g worked great for me.

Ok. So voipover3G DOES work on iCall, and you can make and receive calls on iCall over 3G after you have voipover3g? Right?
