iPhone Losing Signal?
Ok, I have an iPhone 3G with 2.2.1 (Jailbroken) and lately I've been losing signal for no apparent reason. The are I live always has full signal and I rarely lose a signal. Is everyone having this issue? It's starting to piss me off because when I'm talking to someone my call gets dropped for no real reason. SHould I take it to AT&T or call apple and ask them about it?

How recently have you rebooted your iPhone?
Other things you can try before taking your phone in:
1.
toggle airplane mode on
power off phone
power on phone
toggle airplane mode on
2.
Check to see if your sim is not loose. You can also place a small piece of tape on the back of the sim to make it fit tighter in the tray.
If I've helped you, you can help me by clicking on that Thanks button.

Back in the 2.0 up to 2.2 days i had this issue and had 2 replacements at the Apple store for it - i was being told at the time it was software related but i still am more than certain it was hardware.
However, no real problems getting a replacement at the Apple store from the genius - was very helpful. The Original Autobot of MMiJesus couldn't turn into a fire engine
