sync problem

Hi I have an iphone 3g, 2.1, turbosim, I upgrade the ituns to the last version so, now my pc cant recognize mi iphone, it neither recognize it to charge the iphone, any ide awhat should be happend, I red someplace that upgrading the ituns doesnt cause any problem while the firmware of the iphone doesnt be upgrade right?

well itunes 8.1 causes problems as many ppl stated that it doesnt detect iphone, and upgrades iphone on its own. so try to delete itunes and get the version before the one u upgraded to

I did upgrade because my ipod couldnt be syncronized the error said it should be syn with th new itunes, so, i fix the problem with my ipod but then a get the problem with my iphone...
