I recently decided to hawk my iPhone 2G and make the switch to 3G.
After I bought and activated my 3G with AT&T, I did the itunes sync and all of my Apple Store Apps (paid and free) moved over just fine.
Then I jailbroke my 3G and started adding all of my favorite Cydia Apps. On a few of those Apps I had to send the developer on PayPal to get a registration key and unlock the full version of the App (this was for my old 2G).
Has anyone (on the legit) had any luck convincing one of these developers to give them a new key? I emailed one of them already and they (although I don't think they fully understood what I was asking) politely told me to buy it again.
There has to be a way to move paid, non-Apple Store Apps from an old iPhone to a new iPhone, doesn't there?
Ive heard of others encountering the same problem when upgrading to a new iPhone. I imagine it all depends upon what program and what developer you are dealing with.
If I've helped you, you can help me by clicking on that Thanks button.
