    Default 3.0 MMS for 2g

    I am not sure if i'm in the right place or not but i thought i read that 2g phones were not going to have MMS any info would be great!! if this is true i think its B.S. on apples part for sure!!!

    it is called the 2g iphone because of the data speeds it uses.

    it uses 2g speeds.

    the 2g does not refer to 2nd generation if that's what your getting at xwinger.


    and in answer to the ops question - the 2g iPhones will not have an MMS option. it is more than likely that it will be available to the jailbreakers in a short time span. just another move from Apple to try and make people upgrade to newer models.

    this whole announcement of 3.0 so early and publicly is just another marketting scam to boost sales quickly to clear inventory for the newer hardware model anyway. expecting a price drop rumour in the next few weeks...
