    Default Need A File Path Please!?!?!? thanks!!!

    i want to change my firmware from 2.2 to 2.2.1

    i want to do this without upgrading...just to fool the phone into letting me install apps that require 2.2.1 upgrade...

    file path to the location where it reads the firmware version please?

    it just stays at 2.2 even if i change it :-(

    Goto /System/Library/CoreServices
    edit SystemVersion.plist and change fw version

    Looks like:
    <key>ProductVersion</key>
    <string>2.2.1</string>
