hi evry1, today i was surprised at what i saw when i went to the Apple Store. i upgraded to 2.2 and had problem jailbreaking on vista so i took it to the apple store and told them can they jailbreak it for me?(not in the U.S. but here in Egypt its ok. many ppl went to ask them that and they jailbroke it for them) n e way, so i asked him and he told me since 2 weeks jailbreaking is now illegal. and to my surprise he was jailbreaking his friend's phone right infront of me while saying its illegal!!!!!!!

Apple claiming something is illegal doesn't mean anything. The iPhone is sold in over 70 countries with their own laws and screaming to the world that something is illegal doesn't make it a reality.

Does Apple have an "Apple Store" in Egypt, I didn't think they had opened one there.. I'm guessing it was a re-seller..
