If your jailbroken and have cydia and winterboard, install open ssh.
Then you will need to ssh it into your into your phone.

Why don't you think before replying. It's a jailbroken phone.

I uploaded it through iPhone Browser to my applications folder. Is that the same? However, nothing showed up on my springboard.

Only app store or cydia apps can work with iphone.
    But simply,
Upload your app to the Applications folder of your iPhone.
Set the permissions of the app to 755.
Create a folder called “Documents” in /var/mobile/ &set permission to 777.
Create a folder called “Documents” in the /Applications folder&set permissions to 777.
    Reboot your phone.

Okay... so it shows up on my springboard, now how do I set permissions?

It's the new Customize that's compatible with the 2.2.1 firmware.
