    Default How´s the buying situation in the US?

    Hi,
    Tried to do a search but to no avail.

    A friend of mine is going to the US next week. Will he be able to buy an iPhone at the Apple Store, being a foreigner?

    If so, what´s the pricing at this moment? The Apple Store online, doesn´t show the prices.

    You can't buy an iPhone without a contract and since he's not a US citizen with a permanent address and or a social security # I don't think it's possible.

    I thought you could buy the iPhone without a contract for 599/699 respectively. Did I just make that up in my head?
