Noob Help please

Hi all

New to the iphone scene i managed to jailbreak my iphone on firmware 2.2.1 (5H11) and Baseband 02.20.03. I have cydia and a installer icons on my screen. Ive been reading up on apps and all i see is this installer.app is this still in use ? Is it the installer by Nullriver ? By what ive read this is old and only for older firmware would i be correct ? If so where can i get some apps from ? For starters im looking to be able to send/recieve MMS messages without having to buy credits if possible. Also i read you can multi text and forward texts aswell any know of these apps.

Yeah, those apps are all on Cydia. SwirlyMMS for the MMS messages, and there are several ones for texting.

As for Installer, it's basically dead, Cydia is the standard now...

installer is done
