Ok so I was wondering something... My WiFi works on every network that I've tried, except my school network.
My school network is a bit different though. You can connect to the actual network without a password, but if you want to do anything on it, you need to type in your school ID and password when you open a internet browser. This is how it is with a laptop.
When I try with my iPhone, it automatically says 'Cannot Connect to Network.' I know it's a weird network, but is there any way around this?
Also, a totally unrelated question to the title, but is it safe if I keep my phone at 1.1.3? I've been reading about all these problems with 1.1.4 and I'm kind of scared to upgrade. If I keep it at 1.1.3, is there anything I'm missing out on?
no ur not missing out anything on 1.1.3
check with ur schools IT department.
u may have to register ur mac id with them (thats how its in my school)
or u may need a static ip
I have noticed a bug in iphone that sometimes there can be confusion in SSID if they are of the same name and u have used 1 b4 iphone auto loads the setting used previously. u can try and renew ur connection
any 1 noticed this problem.
